House Fires

Every year, there are between 350,000 and 400,000 house fires in the U.S., according to the National Fire Protection Association.

HOME, CONDO AND RENTERS:

Your home is likely one of the biggest investments you’ll make in your lifetime—so why wouldn’t you want to protect that investment and guard it against disasters and losses. Here are a few things to think about when deciding on your coverages.

  • Full replacement coverage of your belongings

  • Cover specific items like heirlooms, valuables, and jewelry

  • Provide replacement costs for your home

  • Provide coverage for identity theft

  • Cover damage from natural disasters or sinkholes

  • Water backup from sewer or septic

  • Arrange temporary living if a covered claim has left your home uninhabitable

If you don’t own a home, don’t worry. We can help you with renters and condo insurance so you can still receive the same benefits listed above. With a renter's policy, the coverage includes the inner contents of the home, apartment, or room that you are renting. This is coverage for the break-ins, the natural disasters, fires, and other circumstances that are beyond your control. Even though your landlord will have a homeowners policy on the building you are living in, it does not cover your own personal items as a renter, which is why renters insurance is essential.
